Timothy R. Hughes

Timothy R. Hughes is of counsel to Bean Kinney, where his practice focuses on construction law and litigation, contracts, and business and corporate law. Tim is the former Chair of the Construction Law and Public Contracts Section of the Virginia State Bar and a LEED Accredited Professional. He has been published extensively on construction and business law issues is a frequent speaker on related topics. Tim is involved extensively in construction industry associations including acting as a Chapter president and board member for NVBIA, speaking and writing for the AIA and its local chapters, and active participation with ABC and NAIOP.  Tim was recognized as a "Leader in the Law" for 2010 by Virginia Lawyer's Weekly.  Tim can be reached by email at thughes@beankinney.com.
 

Heidi Meinzer

Heidi Meinzer is a shareholder with Bean, Kinney and a civil and criminal litigator. In addition to having handled specific construction litigation matters in both a first chair and second chair role, Heidi brings particularized expertise in addressing business and professional occupancy tax, license and regulatory experience, and knowledge of green building issues as a LEED Accredited Professional. Tad Lunger

Tad Lunger is a LEED Accredited Professional and an attorney with Bean, Kinney & Korman in Arlington County, Virginia who specializes in land use, zoning, real estate, construction and development, public/private partnerships and capital projects, as well as local, state and federal government matters. Tad is also experienced in related business matters, and the various ownership and entity structures related to such transactions. In addition to his experience in private practice, Tad provides clients the added perspective of having represented local government in related matters prior to joining the firm. John G. Kelly

John G. Kelly is of counsel to Bean Kinney, where his practice focuses on real estate and business transactions. John has represented lenders and borrowers in sophisticated national and local lending transactions, landlords and tenants in office, industrial, government and retail leasing transactions, hotel developers and real estate investors and developers with respect to all aspects of the purchase and sale of commercial real estate. John is actively involved in community and trade associations and writes regularly on real estate law topics.
